Rural folk remedies and clever methods for treating swine fever
Swine fever is a major obstacle to rural prosperity. When I was in the countryside, my family would raise pigs every year, but sometimes the luck was bad and the pigs would also get swine fever. However, there was basically no chance of death, and they could be treated with traditional methods.
There is currently a method that can cure patients infected with swine fever with medication. Soak 25 grams of both Puxiao and Dahuang in a can of hot water, pour them out and let them cool until warm. Then, use a bamboo stick to pour them down. After half an hour, the sick pig will release its venom, indicating improvement.
Another method: Chop radish leaves and feed them to treat dying sick pigs. Alternatively, cutting off the tip of the tail to allow toxic blood to flow out can also be used for treatment.
