Expired edible oil can produce aflatoxin, which can cause acute lesions such as liver parenchymal cell necrosis, bile duct epithelial cell proliferation, liver fat infiltration, and liver bleeding when ingested by the human body. Early symptoms include fever, vomiting, anorexia, jaundice, followed by ascites, lower limb swelling, and rapid death. Chronic toxicity manifests as growth disorders, subacute or chronic liver damage, weight loss, and induction of liver cancer. Shanghai Xiongtu has launched a series of edible oil hygiene and safety testing products, which combine time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay technology with POCT concept to form time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay quantitative POCT technology products. The products have strong specificity, high sensitivity, good stability, and simple and convenient operation. It can detect aflatoxin B1, benzo [a] pyrene, capsaicin, plasticizers, ethyl maltol, and other substances in various edible oils.
